Charles Robinson was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas. After high school, he joined the army where he served and retired after 29 years.

Charles has his bachelor’s degree in public health and received his Surgical Technology training from Fort Sam Huston Academy of Health Sciences. He worked as a Surgical Technologist at INOVA Alexandria and Mount Vernon Hospital. After completing the Surgical Assistant Program, he worked at INOVA Fair Oaks, Loudoun and Fairfax Hospitals.

He was introduced to Operation Walk while working at Mount Vernon Hospital, where he volunteered as an OR Team Lead Assistant and Surgical Technologist. Now the OR Team Lead for Operation Walk Virginia, he resides in Florida.
