Dr. Kevin Fricka, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon, Team Lead

Dr. Kevin Fricka is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, specializing in Adult Joint Reconstructive Surgery.

Since 2006, he has served as an orthopedic surgeon at Anderson Orthopedic Clinic and a Clinical Instructor for the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute, where he is also a board member.  Over the years, he has been voted “Teacher of the Year” many times by the fellows.  Since 2021, he has also been Section Chief of Arthroplasty for the Inova health system.

Dr. Fricka is active in volunteer work, serving as a board member and participant in Operation Walk Virginia.  

Dr. Fricka graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard University. He earned his medical degree with distinction from George Washington University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received the Julius S. Neviaser Award in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Fricka enjoys road cycling, cooking, listening to music, reading, and spending time with his family: Melissa, Jack, Alycia, Emily, Noah, and their Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rivers.
