Melissa Nahser has been working in the nursing profession for the last 18 years. She spent most of her childhood overseas. This global exposure broadened her horizons and instilled a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and lifestyles.

She joined the Operation Walk Virginia team in 2011 participating in multiple missions to Nicaragua, Ecuador, Panama, and Cuba as an RN floor nurse helping with pre and post-operative care and education. She spent 8 years working with joint replacements at Anderson Clinic and the last 5 years working at INOVA in the Intensive Care Unit.
