Led by Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Kevin Fricka and Team Leader Laura McCormack, Operation Walk Virginia completed a successful 2019 mission at Hospital Santo Tomas in Panama City with the partnership of FundAyuda.

FundAyuda has been aiding Operation Walk Missions in Panama for over 20 years, acting as mission facilitators with the Ministry of Health, local businesses and the hospital. FundAyuda coordinates and provides bus transportation for team members, provides lunch and refreshments for the team at the hospital and critical interpreter services.

On this mission, our Physical Therapy Team of Jen Welsh, Ken Yarborough, and Tricia Agnioli also mentored physical therapy students from the Panamanian University.

Operation Walk Virginia helped 50 patients with a total of 59 joint replacements during a one-week mission trip to Panama City, Panama.
