On December 8, 2012, Operation Walk Virginia teamed up with Operation Walk USA. Operation Walk USA is a non-profit medical humanitarian organization that provides free hip or knee replacement surgeries for these patients.

Operation Walk USA targets patients (US citizens and permanent residents) who do not qualify for government assistance programs.

OpWalk-Va helped 10 patients walk again without pain. The surgeries were performed at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia.
