Operation Walk Virginia has completed more than a dozen missions across Central and South America, transforming the lives of more than 700 patients since 2006.

In 2019, Operation Walk Virginia raised the more than $300,000 necessary to travel to Panama City, Panama, and perform 57 joint replacement surgeries over four days. 49 patients received life-changing surgeries.

In 2011, the OpWalk Virginia team traveled to Nicaragua, providing life-changing mobility to 40 patients through 48 joint replacements.

Panama Mission Trip 2019

Over one impactful week in Panama City, Panama, the all-volunteer Operation Walk Virginia team worked tirelessly to perform knee and hip replacement surgery on dozens of needy patients.

Cuba Mission Trip 2022

During this one-week trip to Havana, Cuba, our 58-person team of medical professionals successfully operated on 41 patients, replacing a total of 28 knee and 24 hip joints.
